Recommendations, please?

So I never know what to read or watch. 

Whenever I'm at a bookstore, I love it, but barely ever end up buying anything because I don't know if a book will be good or not. 

Whenever I watch movies, I spend waay too much time scrolling through Netflix looking at all the possible options.

I think first of all, that I can be grateful that I have so many options, that I live in a country where we have free speech and creativity and the arts are abundant. 

But it's also a tad annoying, so if anyone has any recommendations for books, movies, or TV, please please leave a message in the comments here or on the "To Read, To Watch" page. This is open ended so if you are scrolling deep into my blog some time in the future and come across this post, please suggest stuff! Thanks!
